Our company LP70, is the proud continuation of the six-decade-long tradition of Elite Radio Engineering, a pioneer in the electronics and audio industry of Sri Lanka with a track record of over 65 years. Elite Radio commenced business in 1959 with a technical collaboration license from Japan's Matsushita Electric Company to manufacture the "National" brand radios in its Ratmalana factory, hence laying a strong foundation in sound and audio equipment.

Over the years, the Company became the authorized distributor for some of the world's premier audio brands like Pioneer, Akai, and TOA, establishing itself as one of the most reputed suppliers of quality audio equipment in Sri Lanka. The long association with world-renowned manufacturers strengthened Elite Radio as a name equated with reliability in the world of audio.

LP70 was founded on this heritage, with the vision of creating a specialist destination for music and sound culture in Sri Lanka. We are proud to be the sole authorized distributor of Audio-Technica products in Sri Lanka, making precision-engineered turntables, headphones, and microphones from Japan available to professionals and enthusiasts in the country.
